Catching up...or trying anyway...

Ok, trying to catch up now...darn picture thingie...

Day 114: BEST SOCKS EVER...
Enough said :)

Day 115: Sadness? Nope
We stayed home today, didn't go to the trial, first time I have EVER done that since I started running agility. 27 degrees, 30 mph winds (if not more) and snow coming down...which actually, wasn't the worst of it. Due to the conditions of the trial field, people were going to have to be shuttled by vehicle into the grounds...with 7 dogs? Not going to happen. No thanks. Found out later due to the cold, the mud sort of froze up and people (the 12 or so that showed up for the trial) were able to park on site...oh well, running agility with the wind chill between 15 and 19 degrees isn't fun. So we stayed home and had a great day inside :)

Friday was DAM team, and that was a good time, highlights were Gator and Klink taking 1st and 2nd in jumpers :) And Gator taking 2nd in Gamblers...teams ended up 2nd and 3rd :) Thanks to Crackers, Blade, Mesa and Danger for teaming up with Gator and Klink :) Running on team with the husband is a lot of fun! So very happy with the dogs and how they ran, MY handling was a bit off apparently...damn ;)

Yesterday was insane, with almost all vehicles having to be towed out of the field...the mud was so deep it was crazy...rain, winds, cold...wow. Yeah. I didn't run dogs yesterday either...went home early. The husband stayed and ran Crackers, but afterwards wished he hadn't.

The club says this site will not be used again for trials. I think that is a brilliant idea and a very smart move on their part. Life goes on. But snow on May 1st is just mean. Just plain, mean.

Onto happier things :)

Zippity Zoom will be making an appearance at a trial near you :) Ok, probably not actually near most of you, BUT, the husband has started running her some, and will be entering her in a few PIII jumpers classes. She and the husband have this interesting relationship just in life. I don't think either really care for each other, I am calling it a personality conflict :) She's a brat and he doesn't care for brats :)

But...now that he is working with her...she is infatuated with him :) Well, ON THE AGILITY FIELD. Off the agility field she still doesn't care about him! She is for sure MY dog ;)
But, now, she loves the husband...he is AMAZINGGGGGGG
Is it my turn yet? WOW, look at him running Crackers!!!!!
Did you SEE that front cross? Did ya? HUH??
I love him...right now anyway. I won't claim him once we are done running agility.
But for now, he's the only one that matters...the only one...
I wish he would put that damn terrier up though...really crampin' my style. Two's company, three's a crowd dude...seriously...

And...right now...she is "kinda" staying :) I assured the husband that this probably won't last...she break on him, and he'll run. Because, well...who cares? :) She is trying to give him some amount of staying...which goes like this...
1 foot away...
3 feet away...
6 feet away...is he noticing yet?? Nope...hee heee heeeee
9 feet away...you didn't leave me in a sit, it was a stand, yep, a stand. PROMISE.
Can't believe he hasn't even GLANCED back at me...he hasn't even seen me move 2 feet forward...so gullible...SUCKA!!!
15 feet...moved up 1 more foot...(so then really, more like 14 feet)...
And now about 16 feet and just before she breaks...

Hee, hee...it's gonna be SO MUCH FUN :)

Congrats on the wins! Crackers is so cute! I recognized him right away on Friday. Too bad I'm not better at recognizing people :)
We stopped on Sat., but didn't go into the trial site, because there were 2 tow trucks in the muddy, muddy road. It looked a little wet LOL. And we had already had a full day - Tibby and I won $55!!
