Day 133: Summer is FINALLY here :)
You know it's summer when we start rotational grazing the sheep :) The grass took a long time to get going due to it SNOWING the beginning of May...but now it's lush and sheep can graze it :)
This is Zip's job, moving sheep...to pastures, from pastures...to the barn, etc etc. She loves it :)
So do the sheep...eating hay all winter sucks :)
Lynn's DW turns are getting better, tighter and more consistent :) We'll keep plugging away on that :) And I started Even on her flat plank work. She has been OK'd to do this so it will give her something to work on :) She apparently knows what I want :) Not one miss this first session. Brilliant dog!! :)
We will be making a trip to Missouri shortly...not for a great thing, my Grandfather is dying :-( He doesn't have much time left and I need to get home to support my family. He is currently in hospice and is peaceful. Which I am grateful for. He's lived a long, full life and seems like he is OK with moving onto something better...I am sure he will be very happy to see Grandma in heaven. Those that have been reading the blog awhile know she passed on over 2 years ago. Where Even and Lynn got their names :) She was his life and I think he is ready to see her again.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Sorry about your Grandfather. I hope you get to spend some nice time together.
Praying for peace and comfort for both you and your family.
Do you still throw a toy or leave one set out for Lynn? She really is looking fantastic. What a huge difference from even last week!
Very sorry to hear about your grandfather :(
