Well we are at the 2 week mark from Even's surgery :) She is doing very very well :)
I will notice a slight limp prior to the Passive Range of Motion exercises, but after that, there is no limp. Which to me is amazing. Stitches came out Sunday so no more cone for the little beast.
For those of you who said on the blog and also contacted me privately...I am going to go into rehab stuff...for the rest of you, it might get a bit boring :)
3 times a day I am doing PROM:
Both done 20 times on the Left and Right elbow.
Today started 5 minute leash walks, 2 times a day. Plus other stuff has been added:
Shoulder stretching for 30 seconds, 3 times
Neck Stretching for 30 seconds,3 times
Paw Pull (aka pulling on her paw so she pulls back towards herself)
Crawling around on the floor :)
Play bow stretching, hold for 30 seconds, 3 times.
Those are all done once a day.
I then Ice for 15 minutes after each session. So my life is doing PT right now :) But I am seeing HUGE improvements in her Range of Motion, she was about 70%, after this week she was 90% and this morning she was about 95%...so things are progressing very well :)
Adequan shots have started 2 a week for the next 4 weeks. Which I am sure will help her also.
She looks great :) I am so very happy with how things are progressing :)
Ok...boring I know, but for those who are interested, there ya go!
