Tonight I sit down in my house, enjoying the company of my awesome husband and my dogs. I am grateful for so many things in my life...and being away from the things you care about really makes you realize how important these things are :)
Seeing my puppies again after many days has been so heartwarming. They of course lost all composure when they saw me, all squeals and wagging tails :) Even didn't let me out of her sight...she wasn't interested in anyone else after I showed up :)
After all the homecoming activities...I was sitting down on the couch...taking in the last several days and I felt a familiar and comforting thing...Lynn was behind me on the couch, wrapped around my back and had her head on my leg. Funny how we take for granted those little things :)
Another thing I am grateful for, is time with just Klink and Gator :) Both dogs LOVE it when they are not just "members of the pack"...they love getting to sleep on the hotel beds, and for a short time, I have just two dogs...they get all my attention and I think they enjoy it a lot. However seeing them greet their sisters and brothers when they get home....well you can see they are as happy to be home as I am :)
My husband is a saint, plain and simple :) He decided to paint our livingroom, diningroom, hallways, and kitchen...it looks amazing, and makes home so much more special. I never have to worry about the dogs, as I have him taking care of them. I know it is a lot for him, and I am very very grateful for him. He is my best friend and I am very lucky to have him :)
My students...I adore them, they are a constant support system for each other and me. They cheered me on and are just a great group of people. They are all amazing people and dogs...
So many things to be grateful for...hopefully I can remember all of them...

I love doing individual things with my dogs too-they love their pack, but they also like alone time.
