ADCH GATOR!!

My 2 1/2 year old boy got his ADCH today :-)) After a weekend of him testing things out (aka startlines--are they REALLY necessary mom??) and contacts (also...really necessary to stop on??) I had my doubts the baby boy could pull it together.

He had such a great weekend at the last trial I thought..well, he was due for some baby dog weekends ;-))

He needed one more Super Q--not easy in this neck of the woods, lots of good dogs and great handlers and...well...lets just say Snooker is not my strong suit :-)))

He was pulled in the Standard run before this run for a broken startline stay...so he was not happy about being put up in his kennel...but he came out and was ready to run.

The course was such at you could attempt 3 OF 4 reds....no more than 3...so that narrowed it down...either get 3-7's or no Supa Q for YOU! It was a battle of speed...

Gator didn't put one foot wrong (my handling..well lets not talk about that Kthanks!)...we crossed the finish line and I thought..OK....this sucks....

WHY? With Klinks jumpers run...I knew I had it....with a Super Q...you wait....

And wait....and in my case....I had to wait for the 26" class to go also since they were included. I walked away and my good frend Bonnie walked up to me with a look of sadness on her face....damnit....

She walked over to me and then a HUGE smile got on her face.....he got it! I about threw up on my feet! Naw......REALLY????? I walked over to the score table and looked......they hadn't donethe Super Q tally yet.......so I didn't want to do anything until I saw that SQ by Gator's name...

Finally it was written down....Gator took 2nd in the 22" behind my good friend Jacque and her red haired girlie Sizzle..and then Terry Smorch in the 26" class got another Super Q...and the 3rd one went with Tator boy :-))))))))

What a great boy :-)))) Andy recorded the ADCH run..but apparently was so nervous it is a bit crazy..but I will post it as soon as I can!

Klinker and Zip ran well also..I think Klink finished up a couple of her Championship titles...will have to look.

Zip didn't run but 2 runs today....she has hurt her back...so fingers crossed she will be OK :-((((
