We spent all day today putting up Christmas lights because I have this special affinity (others call it OCD) with Christmas. I love lights..I love sparkly things...I love shiney objects...
So I can feel for Gator...today was FILLED with shiney things, little glass balls, lots of twinkling lights and glitter...the only way today could have been better for him is if we whipped out the swiffer or vacume. So he spent the day just watching.......tail wagging...and just so excited to see all the shiney things.
Everyone else couldn't figure out what was so exciting....
We then proceeded to go outside and put up lights on the house....we come back in to quite the site.
Gator has taken all the shiney balls off the bottom 1/3 of the tree and taken them to his kennel...the look on his face was similar to Golum (spelled that wrong I am SURE) off Lord of the Rings "MY PRECIOUS" laying in his kennel---evil eyes glaring at anyone that dare come near his gleaming shiney things...
I had to end his lovely treasure hunt...taking them all away and we had to spend the day teaching him that he can't pluck the pretty things off the tree and keep them for himself.
After such a long day......the dogs were tired--so they settled down on a new HUGE dog bed we got them....sleepy puppers---Crackers even joined in :-))

You are probably wondering why they are all facing the same way....well we were eating lunch when they fell asleep---so lunch was THAT way :-)))
