The Holidays are always super busy around here...with families far away, shopping for presents (NOT MY IDEA OF FUN!!!) and all the other stuff that goes along with it. So I took a break from blogging to try to enjoy all those moments :)
So what have I been up to? Well...I baked a LOT of cookies...
And ate a lot of cookies....sigh...ugh...
There was NO DOG TRAINING...so the dogs slept...
And then slept even more...
Even is beaten....daily...physical abuse...it's sad...
They were pretty much useless...as was I :)
A ton of sleeping, and no training....resulted in a bit of an issue...Gator decided to letme know that I was neglecting my duties...by eating my blinds while I worked Lynn...
Cause he's an ass...not really, he's an under exercised Border Collie...my bad. So I had to get back into reality...
Back to walks, back to training, back to working dogs :) They all appreciated it :)
OH...can't forget the drinking...there was a good amount of alcohol consumed...prior to Christmas anyway :)
YUMMMMMMM
My Christmas ended up very different than any other year this time. The plan was to head home to Missouri, to see family and enjoy the holidays. Sadly, I got VERY sick the day we were supposed to leave. I told the husband to head home and enjoy family as I feel that is what Christmas is about. After some convincing, he did, though not happily. I stayed behind, and lived vicariously through him :) A dear friend let me borrow their family for Christmas day and I had a very very good time :) I am very blessed!! It really was a great Christmas!!!
I got some super fun presents too!!!! I mean seriously...
Life is good with a GUITAR ON IT?!??!? AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And THE CUTEST MITTENS EVER!!!!!
AND HAND MADE!! WOW!! IMPRESSED!!!!
Now...to get back on track...dog training...fitness goals (I need to get back on the wagon!!!!) healthy eating, etc etc...
I hope you all had a great Holiday! I hope your hearts were filled with love and happiness! I am looking forward to 2012! New goals, new challenges, a new year!!!

LOVE the mittens! And the rest of your break sounds pretty awesome as well.
Aw man and here I was imagining you have a great trip to visit your family - that sucks :( Glad you were able to still have a nice time. Those mittens are soooo cute.
