What do YOU want...

It's rainy...it's dreary and I am bored...

I've ran out of things to talk about...no rabies infested chipmunks, Crackers isn't eating poop yet as it's summer, the sheep have all lambed, Zip hasn't counter surfed and everyone is healthy (knocking on wood as we speak)...

So...here's your chance. Tell ME what you want me to blog about...anything...you get to decide. Doesn't even have to be about dogs or dog training. Any questions you've always wanted to ask me? Any thoughts on training? Any and all suggestions will be entertained :)

Day 166: Flashdance...
I had to wrap Lynn's stop pad, she was licking it...and then, I got bored...and she ended up looking like an amazinglymegasexyhot Flashdance puppy...I think the wristbands and headband make her look super fit and skinny...and her ears HUGE...

But she's amazing...she needs a cape maybe...like superwoman...and then I need to take a picture of her running her DW like that...because it would be cool...

Please...give me something to blog about...NOW...this is getting ridiculous!

I want to know more about the jump grids you are doing with your dogs. Are they at the height you normally jump your dogs? Higher? Lower? What is the spacing? How many jumps? What are you looking for when the dog is jumping?

1. What you think the most important things are everyone should teach their dogs BEFORE they try agility. ie what are YOUR foundation behaviors.

2. What is your favorite thing you and Andy have ever done together.

3. If you must have a small dog other than crackhead, what would you get?

4. How did each of your dogs get their names?

5. What is your favorite meal to eat and why? Can you tell me how to stop loving food so f*#@&&*# much? ;)

6. If you could go back and do one thing over again, differently, what would it be?

Crackers is so fast and I was wondering if he always had that much drive for agility. If not, were there any exercises you/Andy did (or could suggest) to build drive for small dogs? Also - how did you get involved in agility?

Why did Andy get a Crackhead when BC's seem to be the dog to have at your house?

What method do you use to teach your dog their amazing weavepole skills??

I want to know why wearing wristbands and a headband doesn't make ME look skinny. I got the ears down, so gosh darn it, what is Lynn's secret? ;o)

I agree with Sue -- I want more free training advice about the jump grids. Specifics, please! Spacing in particular....

Oh, and when are you going to have more puppies. Just THINK of all the blog posts that would generate for you! But take your time, I'm not ready for a puppy just yet. But if you're starting a list for a couple of years from now, put down my name. :o)

Do your dogs have natural drive/speed or is it something you've worked with them on? How do you recommend building speed and confidence, especially in young dogs?

I would love to hear what weave pole method you use to teach weaving...
