Winter...FUn??

It's 19 degrees...sunny though...but it is still 19 degrees...that's BALMY up here...
I repeat...it is NINETEEN DEGREES...that is still cold...yuck...and it is only going to get colder...gotta love Minnesota...not...

Kitties don't like the cold either...they curl into these tiny little balls and their wittle feets disappear..don't worry...she can come into the insulated, heated garage...her life isn't so bad. So I put blankets on the dogs and out they went.Klink doubted that we would be spending the day outside...Zip was prepared, Jolly Ball in hand, er...um...paw... And Even was ready to get CRAZY...well...as crazy as one can get on a flexi lead. Oh...by the way, a dog CAN buck like a wild donkey on the end of a flexi lead...Even has mad skillz. Yes my sheepdogs have blankets...go ahead, make fun of me. I don't care :) No they don't wear them when they are working sheep... So I thought, heck, why not take out the camera and get some shots of the puppies...I normally get some fun ones...but with Even in the group...well...
Even always makes funny faces in pictures...looking like she has a firecracker up her ass, or spacing out, or tweeking on meth...she never has a normal look on her face.Ever... A rare picture of Ace...he ran away shortly after this picture was snapped...to the other side of the yard. Where my zoom lens couldn't get to him... I asked Andy if the Jolly Ball got hit with the mower when we were cutting hay this summer. He said no. I think he is lying...just sayin'...Vittles comes out when the dogs are on their walks, or go potty outside...and then she is RIGHT back into the house...while she is out, she loves hunting the wild albino Jack Russell Terrier. Very elusive, very difficult to catch...Once you find the wild albino JRT, you must give them a good "pimpin' hand" upside the head to stun then... And then a good bitch slap on the buttocks will do them in. Why must you tell the world a cat whoops my ass on a daily basis...you are ruining my tough guy exterior! Little dog don't need no stinkin' doggie booties!
Lynn...the queen of finding EVERY TENNIS BALL YOU HAVE EVER LOST SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME...Still don't need no stinkin' booties!!! Gimme that damn ball Klink!Throw. It. Now...Please... Waiting...waiting...waiting...tick, tock, tick, tock... That frozen Jolly Ball weighs more than Crackers...he has like super ninja strength...like an ant or something... Lynn, just happy, happy, happy :) A somewhat normal picture of Even :)
See!?!?! This could have been an ADORABLE snow puppy picture...except for the freak dog in the back...staring at who the hell knows WHAT...seriously Even...you need some ridalin or something...FOCUS!

And on a completely different note...I think I found the cutest dog toys EVER!!!! Oh MY GAWD...LOOK!!!! SOCK MONKEYS IN DIFFERENT COLORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought 4 of them...shut up...you are just jealous I feel kind of bad for them, I know their lives will be short, but we did the "can they survive longer than 4 minute" test and they passed...ya know, where you pull on the arms and legs to see if you hear anything rip...and if you do, you put it back :) You KNOW you do it. Sock monkeys are total awesomeness...

Maybe if I start training my dogs again, I might have some amazing posts about stuff...but right now, I just want to sit by a fire and drink glasses of wine...so this is all your gonna get for awhile...I hate winter.

But I have Dexter to watch, which. is. awesome :)

I love the coats you have for your dogs. My girls have coats too, but I haven't found ones nearly as nice and functional as yours are. May I ask what brand they are? Thanks!
