Spot...

I just had to share a video of Spot working sheep :) Donna has been bringing him out for lessons once a week for a bit. Donna has absolutely no livestock experience so she is learning from ground zero :) So we worked on her reading stock a bit, actually moving sheep herself and trying to get things a bit more comfortable for her.

Meanwhile I was working Spot, getting him around his sheep, and bending, switching direction etc. We then tried to have Donna work Spot and he wanted NO part of that :) He just kept coming to me...if I worked him he would keen and worked lovely. If Donna stepped in, he immediately knew she wasn't sure of what she was doing and stopped, or would grip sheep...so I finally just decided to leave the round pen, and tell her what moves to make. It took a bit to get him to work for her, but now things are going very well :) This is her 3rd lesson working Spot. They get better every time :) So happy for both of them.

She is still making some wrong moves, but they happening less and less often. I am not having to give her every step to make. And things are starting to click with both of them as a team...so cool to see...

And Lynn...well...I wanted a naughtier dog...and I now have it :) She is acting like her mother more and more now :) And I am having a lot of fun with that! KK is probably going to ask me what I have done to her at the clinic! LOL!

Looks like Donna certainly got her exercise today. :^) They are looking like they are getting it and enjoying themselves.
