Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Although it is 15 degrees, 20 mph winds and snowy outside...we are all cozy and warm in the house. Family is up and of course we ate too much. The dogs each got their own plate, which they, of course, eat as fast as possible...

As many people are probably doing today, I am taking a few moments to remember what I am thankful for:

I am very thankful for many things in my life...my husband being one of them. My best friend ever, the only person in the world that REALLY knows me, all the good and bad things about it, and is there for me no matter what. I feel very lucky every, single, day to have him in my life :)

My family, which is of utmost importance to me. I am so thankful for my two sisters, even though we don't always see eye to eye, we love each other the same :) And the rest of my family as well. Thanks for putting up with me!

My friends, who, like my husband, take me for what I am, and are not afraid to stand up to me if I need it (also like my husband! LOL). I have met so many people and I look forward to meeting many more! I have several really close friends and I feel very blessed to have a great circle of people in my life that are there for me, make me laugh, and make me want to ring their necks, all in ONE conversation :)

My dogs of course :) I am thankful for the vets that made Even better, thankful I have another year with Ace despite some issues with his health and thankful Zip is still with us after her little "incident"...so many things COULD have gone the other way...and it didn't...thank God. I adore my dogs and I try my hardest to not take anything for granted.

My students...who I really enjoy teaching...they work so hard and are ALWAYS willing to try something different or new. Thanks to all of you!

I am thankful I have came back to herding again...feels like I have come home :) And I have 2 great friends to drive to clinics and work dogs with...and some great people to help me out with issues or questions I have on this journey.

I am looking forward to a VERY boring 2011 :) Although, at this point, I wouldn't change anything that has happened in 2010. It all happens for a reason...or so I tell myself :)

Enjoy the day, eat all you want and then some, and realize what you have!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!
