Rain, rain go away!

It's been raining a lot lately...and when it rains...the staring begins...I get up to get a glass of water, they all move. I get up to go to the bathroom, they all move. I get up to do ANYTHING, and they all move. Apparently they are hoping...for that ONE MOMENT that I suddenly decide going outside in the pouring rain is a great idea...
Nope...and so they stare...
I don't reward them...trust me...but they don't care...
Staring at me is a great hobby here...staring, or sleeping are the choices...
One can, apparently, only do so much sleeping...

Seriously mom??
We're WAAAAIIITTTINNNNNGGGGG

I have gotten used to it though...and when we have company, they inform me the staring is creepy...UNLESS...It is from the CUTEST DOG EVER (yes that is what all of our houseguests say...whatever, I think the BC's are MUCH cuter...stupid little white dog...)

ZOMG ISN'T HE SO CUTE! HE LOOKS LIKE A WITTLE PUPPY DAWG! HE'S SO TINY!!! CUTE CUTE CUTE (insert me, in the background, trying to hold the vomit in..)

Zip says, screw that, I am going to go f*ck with the TV since you are all going goo goo brained over the white pest...whatever... Could we PLEASE go outside? Please?Oh shut the hell up everyone, try being in an x-pen 24/7 with stupid leash walks...and stupid exercises and only 5 MINUTES OF SWIM TIME! You can all bite me...

You would think with these outside of my patio door...they would not all stare at me...

But most of them will be gone soon, yes I am afraid that the babies will be going to market. Sorry...it's ok though, they are not nearly as cute as they used to be...
They are freakin' HUGE!!! Lambed in mid-March and about 5 months old and already almost as big as their mothers! (Ewe is in the middle, with her 2 lambs on either side).

I am really happy with how all the lambs turned out this year
I like this one...it has a black nose...we might keep it :)
Ok...well not ALL of the lambs are cute...there is always an ugly one in the bunch...and this is the one :) She will be going to market.
This one is kinda cute...what do you think?
ZOMG she is staying!!!! How freakin' cute is SHE!?!?!?! :)
And of course Spot...she is staying, just due to her black spot on her kneecap...
Another look at Spot...and she is HUGE as well :) Nice nice lamb...
One of my favorite ewes :) She is perty, I think anyway!
We are also keeping the 2 ewe lambs from this set of triplets born this year. The momma is on the left and the 3 babies are next to her...nice ewe, she has produced well for us and as you can see she can really take care of her babies.
I like big butts, and I cannot lie...
Spottie :) Her other name is Jabba the Hut
We are selling several of the lambs privately, which is nice. People want to know where their meat comes from and that is becoming a popular thing for us to do.
Lets hope the rains break a bit and outside work can resume!

Love the picture of the 4 BCs waiting at the white back door. It looks like they are trying a group mind-meld to get the door opened!

The sheep/lambs all look the same to me :-)

Taryn...they probably ARE trying to use the powers of their minds to do that :) Wouldn't put it past them ;)
