Well we took Even to the vet today to see if we could start down a path of figuring out her lameness issue :)
I am happy to say she is a healthy 27 pound bundle of border collie with a great temperament, no fever and we have narrowed down the lameness :)
X-rays of both shoulders were taken and NO issues with OCD or anything like that..thank goodness! HOWEVER, she did show signs of pain in the shoulder....the left one to be exact :(
SO...we have a soft tissue issue...the stability of the shoulder was great, so hopefully this is something I can get pinpointed at the massage therapist tomorrow :) Time will tell. For now, she is on leash walking, the limping is very minimal and we will see how things go.
She will for sure be out of agility training or herding training for at least a couple of months :-(
But I guess I can just concentrate on Lynn and get her really going...and work low impact things with Even :)
I will post another update tomorrow if we find something more specific!! Thank you all for your continued positive thoughts!!!!!! Even appreciates them and hopes they will get her out of leash walks soon :)

I hope you figure out something at the massage therapist. Did you have them check for the tick diseases? Storm injured her paw a long time ago and it caused her to limp for a long time, much longer than she should have for the type of injury. After a year or more of limping I had them do the tick disease tests and we discovered that she had ehrlichia. After a round of Doxycycline she no longer limps. Ever. Anyway keep us updated and I'll keep sending healing light her way. :)
Well, not the best diagnosis but definitely not the worst! Sorry it didn't turn out to be nothing, but I am sure Even will recover quickly with her leash walks and rest and she'll be back to training in no time.
i am glad that there is nothing that shows on the xray! what a relief to not have to worry about something needing surgery.
Relief. I really think it's "growing pains", if there is such a thing.
Yes I did have a TBD test and it was clean. We actually don't have many ticks where I live, but I have them all tested regardless because our county is HUGE for TBD's.
Debra Kay I hope it IS growing pains, that would be very nice!!!
Thank you ALL for the positive thoughts :) Hopefully I know more today :)
Still keeping my fingers crossed and beaming more positive thoughts you way.
